IAC Sur Sandhya 2015

Indian Association of Columbus welcomes you to 2nd annual Musical event “IAC Sur Sandhya 2015″, an event where vocal artists show their talent in their choice of language. Also, instrumentalists will mesmerize the crowd with scintillating music.

Time: Saturday, March 07, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, gates open at 4:30 PM
Venue: Auditorium, Southside Elementary School (1320 W 200 S, Columbus, IN)
This year, IAC will be renting sound system and technicians to manage the sound system.

Ticket price: $5 (includes service fee) for age above 12 years and FREE for age 12 years & below. All participants are required to purchase tickets.

Please note that IAC has planned to use this ticketing website for future events and your one time registration is required to purchase tickets. Please bring paper or electronic print of ticket or valid ID card for admission at venue.

IAC Table Tennis Tournament 2015

The Indian Association of Columbus would like to invite you to participate in the fifth annual IAC Table Tennis Tournament. Below are the details for registering for the tournament. So, fellow paddlers, we look forward to your participation in making this event successful.

Republic Day Celebration 2015

Dear All,

The Indian Association of Columbus (IAC) proudly invites you to join us in celebrating the 66th Republic Day of our country. Activities include flag hoisting, singing the national anthem, games for kids and adults.

Light Indian refreshments will be served.

IAC Dandiya Night 2014

Hello,

The Indian Association of Columbus would like to thank you all for the overwhelming response for the IAC Diwali Night 2014.

IAC invites you to the Dandiya Night 2014. This being the final event of the year, we would like you to join us with your friends and family and have some masti to the Dandiya Music!!!

Date: Saturday, 15th November
Time: 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Venue: Park Side Elementary School
1400 Parkside Drive, Columbus, 47201.
Entry: FREE!!!

Dandiya sticks will be provided and light refreshments will be served (free by IAC) till it lasts.

India Booth at Ethnic Expo 2014 : Call for Volunteers

Hello,

IAC invites you to volunteer at the India Booth at Ethnic Expo 2014. Building up on a tremendous response received from the community over the past few years, IAC requests for volunteers for food preparation (at home) and also for volunteering at the food booth to serve visitors/cook at the booth.

Ethnic Expo is the biggest multi-ethnic event organized by the City of Columbus. For more information about this event please visit: http://www.ethnicexpo.org/

Food Preparation:

IAC will provide you with ingredients and time when the food needs to be prepared. You can select from a variety of items listed on the registration link. Alternately, you can also decide to help with cooking one of the various dishes (ex. Dosa, Chaat etc.) to be prepared on-site at the India booth.

Booth Volunteering:

You can select to help with serving food and explaining dishes to visitors who are trying Indian food for the first time.

All volunteers will be given food coupons. CMI employees can log this volunteering time as EEEC hours (Details to be provided later).

IAC Independence Day Celebration 2014

The Indian Association of Columbus invites you to join us in celebrating India’s 68th Independence Day. Activities for the event include flag hoisting, singing the national anthem, games for kids and cultural activities for kids and adults.
There is no entry fee for this event. Light refreshments will be served.
